Its not an engagement shoot... its a proposal shoot!

Last Saturday was a big day for Arika (my best friend) and Tyler (my boyfriend's best friend). We had planned to do a couple's shoot and it turned into the perfect excuse to camoflauge Tyler popping "The Question." So a simple shoot turned into a monumental day for my best friend and I was blessed enough to be a part of it and document it with my camera. We had a wonderful day taking pictures and then when the time was right, Tyler asked Arika to marry him and she said yes. Here is a glimpse from the photo shoot and then the proposal.

And here is to Tyler for coming up with a master plan. Nice work, man! I am so excited to watch you guys grow and plan together and I wish you two the best! Thanks for letting me be a part of it all!

McCluskey Clan Family Shoot

Here is a glimpse of the family shoot I did of the McCluskey grandkids. There are three families in all and the whole group is a whole lot of fun. We spent the day at a park in Loveland where we took good advantage of the river and the trees. A specialy thanks to the Barleen, Clark, Arispe, and Lobato families for being such fun models.

Larissa Elizabeth Photography... The Beginning.

     I am a girl with a camera and a love of taking photographs. I enjoy the challenge of making something ordinary look beautiful in a photograph and I have a special spot in my heart for black and white photos. I love taking pictures of people, as well. It is a challenge to capture someone's real personality in a picture and I hope to always continue to get better at that.

    This here marks the beginning of an adventure that is a couple years in the making. I took photography classes in high school and was quickly madly in love. From there, I just took pictures as a past time. I took pictures for people as favors or girfts but I never made the jump to making it into a business. But now, its time to see if this thing will take off and fly. I have years of experience and now its time to see where this could go.
